ABOUT

Charlie Harper is a composer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, instructor, and music producer with over seventeen years of experience. Starting his music education at the age of 12 and touring the world at the age of 17, Harper has performed live with bands signed to major labels such as Warner Brothers, Island Def Jam, and Columbia Records. In addition, he has an impressive list of artist collaborations and has provided direct support for big-name acts such as Tove Lo, Imagine Dragons, The 1975, ZZ Ward, and many others. He has also appeared on the Late Late Show with James Corden.

Having received musical training from superb musicians throughout the US, including Houston, Austin, Nashville, Los Angeles, and from Berklee College of Music, Harper is well-versed in many styles from rock to country to Latin jazz. As a top-rated instructor of drums, bass, piano, guitar, sound recording, and coaching bands in Austin, TX (and online), he works with students of all ages, inspiring them with his passion for music. A prolific digital composer, Harper has been solicited to contribute to many projects, including podcasts.
